In the chill of winter night
Dripped the ice-coat Northern fright
Next morning, frozen-toed and white fingered,
In shutter speed shock, I saw Old Man Winter himself, unlocked.

Thank you! I love winter. The contrasts in light, the life in the apparent stillness. It is my favorite season to photograph.

Winter renders down to the bones of a landscape… lots of mood with the light. Your photos are comtemplative.

I am so happy that you stopped by my blog so that I was led to yours! Your play with words in connection to the imagery you capture is a treat! I was attracted to the title of your bog because I dabble with the concept of light (in the spiritual sense), and now I see how it domes through in intriguing creativity: the simplicity yet profoundness of what you see in nature. Thank you!

Thanks Josette. I find the light in nature, as with all light, a mystery. I feel so privileged when a mystery moment is revealed to me and I happen to have my camera. I want to share some of those moments. I checked out your blog and I really like the approach you suggest for transformation.
